Classic Ballarat chardonnay with ripe peach, nectarine and citrus. There’s subtle toast from the barrels and brioche notes all backed by lingering acidity. Generous and refined.
Complex cool climate pinot with savoury cherry, red fruit and floral aromas. On the palate it’s all about earthy, autumnal flavours. Bright fruit and brisk tannins carry the wine to a long finish.
The 2019 is full of crunchy red berry flavours, lifted cherry aromas and fresh herb notes. More delicate than the 2018, it’s a charming Ballarat pinot that unfurls with time in the glass.
This Rosé is made using Shiraz fruit. A half day of skin contact provided a cracking colour. Savoury palate with no sign of cloying sweetness.
My daughter is called Rosie. Enjoy, as we do. Matt Thain.
Cool climate shiraz with dark fruit, pepper and spice on the nose that follows through on the palate fruit density balanced by fine tannins. …….
Classic cool climate shiraz. It’s medium-bodied frame supports an array of red and black flavours, with notes of five-spice, black pepper and thyme to boot. Long and rewarding.
